URBANFITNESS London is designed to be the central hub of an active lifestyle, with carefully selected fitness equipment, evidence-based fitness programmes, cutting edge group exercise classes for all levels, ongoing access to education, and above all, a dedicated and knowledgeable team. Research in areas far and beyond the fitness industry, from elite sports performance to world leading service cultures has been used to create an inspiring environment.
ERSG Sports & Leisure began investing in URBANFITNESS London in 2015, with an agreement in place for them to buy-out at an agreed stage of business growth. The investment relationship was originally formed through a mutual connection with Jonathan Williams of URBANFITNESS, Tony Copsey of ERSG Sports & Leisure and Jonathan Wilson of sports and leisure marketing specialist 100AND10%.
Charles Tantram and Jonathan Williams have worked together for over six years, sharing a love of the fitness industry. It is this experience and passion that has helped them to create such a unique concept within the fitness sector.
Central to the URBANFITNESS London ethos is the concept of marginal gain; that making slight improvements to everything you do can have a dramatic effect on your lifestyle and prepare you for any challenge. All aspects of the club facilities have been devised through evidence-based design, with these ‘gains’ in mind.
“This is a sound concept which fits very well with ERSG Sports & Leisure and its approach to business. I’m incredibly pleased to be working with such a knowledgeable and professional management team, and look forward to helping URBANFITNESS London evolve”

“From our first meeting with Tony Copsey to our second with David Evans at ESRG Sports & Leisure we knew they were the correct partners for us. They understood our core values from minute one and allowed us to present our proposition fully before investigating the business premise in more detail”
